Therapy
Psychotherapy
I provide two types of psychotherapy; ISTDP and Therapeutic Assessment.
ISTDP
I have worked with Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP) since 2019 and completed a three-year ‘Core’-training in 2022. For bookings, please email me.
How Does ISTDP Work?
ISTDP addresses disruptions and traumas in human attachment that lead to complex emotional responses. Blocked or avoided emotions can be reactivated by life events, triggering conscious or unconscious anxiety which affect bodily systems like the automatic nervous system and the immune system. ISTDP works to resolve unconscious barriers by helping patients recognize and address their defenses and anxieties, by exploring their emotional responses in therapy. Tailored to individual anxiety tolerance, ISTDP can help build capacity to regulate emotions, facilitating personal and relational growth.
Without a correct diagnosis, no amount of therapy will be effective”

Therapeutic Assessment
A Therapeutic Assessment is more than an assessment—it’s a collaborative and therapeutic journey designed to provide insights into your psychological structure. Through a 5-step process, combining advanced psychological testing and personalized feedback, this approach addresses your key questions about yourself while promoting growth and positive change. From uncovering your perceptual style, attachment patterns, and interpersonal dynamics to exploring emotion regulation strategies; this process offers actionable insights to help you navigate life and relationships more effectively. Having worked with this method since 2018, my clients have reported benefits such as increased emotional self-awareness, reduced anxiety, closer interpersonal relationships and more available energy.
Depending on your questions, methods may include:
MMPI-2: A comprehensive questionnaire assessing personality and psychological functioning.
Adult Attachment Interview (AAI): A semi-structured interview that delves into attachment style and early attachment experiences.
Rorschach Performance Assessment System (RPAS): A performance-based test providing insight into personality dynamics.
